Our experienced Modular Wiring fitters have been involved with this unique style of installation since 2005.
Following a recommendation and some negotiations, Balfour Beatty Engineering Services, appointed us to carry out the modular wiring installation & associated works packages for the new build wing at the NHS Victoria hospital in Fife.
The installation was carried out using Balfour Beatty Engineering services’ own in house modular + product and 25km of modular wiring was fitted.
Our senior site representatives formed part of the services installation management team and working together ensured that the project criterion of on time on budget with zero defects was fully achieved.
Strict co-ordination procedures were developed and the system implemented was that the product was manufactured and called down on an area by area basis it was then installed as per the construction zones and dead tested in advance of fit out works.
Within the North side of the building we were also responsible for the pre-commissioning.
In addition to the modular wiring works we carried out the conduit containment installation, the roof power & amenity lighting, the pneumatic & services plant room general electrical installations, isolated power supplies glanding & terminating and the north side GN7 earthing.
